The goal of E-J Energy Services is to provide turn-key supply side energy solutions and energy management strategies to reduce demand and to provide cost savings for our clients.

We welcome Robert Gisolfi as the leader of this new addition to our business which is based out of our Connecticut office.

Robert is a graduate of Manhattan College with a BS in Electrical Engineering and he obtained his MBA from Polytechnic University. He actively serves on the advisory board, for the Gerson Lehrman Group financial advisory firm, as an expert in energy related topics. Robert has over twelve years of experience in the utility industry, designing, installing, and maintaining overhead and underground electric distribution systems. During his tenure at Starwood Hotels and Macy’s, Robert championed initiatives in the areas of commodity management, demand-side reduction projects and the installation of over 1.4MW of renewable energy systems. Services being offered by the new E-J Energy Services will cover both Supply and Demand Side Services as follows:

The financing platform for this type of work naturally lends itself to the current markets. Investors interested in owning turn-key Energy projects, for the tolling of energy, work with companies to design and build onsite power systems. At project completion, ownership is transferred to these investors, who act as another utility, where the customer makes payments for kWh consumed. Typically, the cost per kWh for energy produced by Cogeneration and Solar power plants, are lower than what the local utility charges. The customer benefits by saving money and reducing their carbon footprint, with no capital costs. The investor benefits from a stable 10 year investment, with predictable returns. Without these investment vehicles, it would be hard for customers to come up with the capital required to install these projects, and for the renewable energy market to grow.
